FAVORITE MUSIC ALBUMS OF THE YEAR:

”All My Demons Greeting Me as a Friend” by AURORA
– The band Aurora is my discovery of 2016. Since its release, there hasn’t been a single day without me listening to a couple of tracks off of it to relax.

”Blackstar” by David Bowie
– For reasons that we know, I’ve only listened to this album 3 times. I haven’t been able to listen to it ever since. This album was already getting to me. Some day, I’ll be able to listen to it again. This record deserves a place in my top 2016 but also in my heart.

”La Petite Mort or a Conversation with God” by King 810
– I don’t remember exactly when William showed me this very raw band but it became an instant favorite. They offered this raw and profound follow-up to their first piece of work. What else could you ask for?

FAVORITE MOVIE OF THE YEAR:

”10 Cloverfield Lane”

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR:

-The production/mix and release of ”The Butterfly Effect’’.
-The release of the soundtrack ”Fall Of Gods: She Is Gone” by François Jolin. An excellent album that I had the chance to mix.

A lot of people could say that 2016 was a particularly rough year and I couldn’t agree more. However, I would like to look at things with a positive perspective. It has been a huge and wonderful year for Projekt F. We are so grateful for all the support and love that you give us. It feels unreal every time I think about it. I would like to thank you for it! I would also like to thank my brothers William, Fred and Simon. Living all these life adventures with you is a unique experience. A special mention and a huge thank you to our manager Helene who joined the Projekt F family last year. You opened my mind and have always been there for us.

Projekt F will come back in 2017 for another year that we’ll share with you all!

FAVORITE MUSIC ALBUM OF THE YEAR:

’’Metal Resistance’’ by Babymetal
I had so much fun listening to this one. It made me legit smile, sing and headbang. Super Epic.

‘’Beast’’ by Despised Icon
Signature Despised sound on there. This album was very welcome. Crank the volume!

‘’La Petite Mort or A Conversation with God’’ by King 810
William showed me this album. It’s so powerful I couldn’t believe my ears when I first heard it.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR:

-The Butterfly Effect Release Shows
-Discovering my new form

2016 was a real rough one for me. I had an accident and I almost lost everything, couldn’t see much of the summer. Sometimes you have to go through pain to become stronger. I want to thank my family in Projekt F for being there for me all the way. I feel very lucky, this band really brings out my strength and passion. Also thanks to everyone who supported us by coming to our shows and giving us your energy, we’re all a big family and it’s always a pleasure to perform for you and with you. I love you all.

Week 2 – Fred’s 2016 retrospective:

FAVORITE MUSIC ALBUM OF THE YEAR:

‘’A Moon Shaped Pool’’ by Radiohead
-A remarkable work on the arrangements. An album that made me dream.

FAVORITE TV SHOW OF THE YEAR:

‘’Stranger Things’’
-An absolute must-see. The atmosphere of the show hooked me in within the first minutes. Dark and mysterious. It reminded me of one of my favorite video games, Silent Hill.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE YEAR:

-It has been a rough year for me but i still experienced great moments that i’ll remember for the rest of my life. The EP release show was intense and stressful, but at the same time it was definitely one of my favorite and proudest accomplishment. Another great memory is our show in Atlanta. It was our first show in the United States and it gave us a little taste of things to come.

As i’ve said, 2016 wasn’t an easy one. I was very lucky to be surrounded by people who where there to help me during these difficult times. To my family, friends and bandmates, thank you for being there for me.
